plain words

privacy, in plain words

Kaiary is a private family memory journal — your memories are visible only to the people you invite. here's what that means, without any legal-speak.

who can see your memories

only the people you invite — your partner, grandma, anyone you choose. you control every invite, and you can remove someone anytime. nobody outside your family gets a peek.

how face recognition works

it runs on systems Kaiary operates ourselves. your family's faces are never sent to outside companies, and they're never used to teach anything beyond your own journal. the goal is finding your kid in your own memories — that's it.

what we never do

we never sell your data. we never show ads. we never make your memories public, and we never let strangers browse them. your family stays your family.

your controls

you can export everything you've saved, anytime, in one go. and if you ever want to leave, you can delete your account and every memory with it — really delete, not "archive."
